To all the Noobs out there welcome to my Minecraft blog!
In this blog I hope to give you all some great tips for playing and kicking some serious Ender Dragon butt.
So lets go then......
First of all my noobs get a skin before you go on the server for the first time this helps to personalize your Minecraft avatar "Steve". Try PlanetMinecraft.com to find a skin that is right for you, there are also other great websites out there for that kind of thing but be careful some are pay based and other's loaded with viruses and other junk you don't want on your computer.
The next thing you want to do is find a great server to log onto for the first time. I've always liked Ghast.com myself. This is where the fun begins, get in and build yourself shelter right away. Hollow out a hill or build something out of dirt but just get yourself something to hide out in as soon as possible. Find yourself some trees too, and collect as much wood as you can this is critical for what you need to do next.
When night falls things will get hard, very hard for you without shelter. The Minecraft world is filled with Zombies, Skeletons with arrows, Spiders, Creeper, and Enderman all hoping to make you dinner and take your stuff.
During your first night (hopefully in your shelter) start constructing your crafting tables, and then all the tools you need.
The next morning start the "Mining" part of Minecraft and begin digging for things like iron, coal, and the really awesome stuff like gold, diamonds, and emeralds. On the third day your Steve avatar is going to be pretty spent, so now is a good time to hunt and help him with his comforts by constructing a bed, and getting food from chickens, cows, pigs, and Mooshrooms.
